Insurance & Fees
Our fee for service is $150 per session
Most insurance plans don’t cover couples counseling, which focuses on communication, relationship-building, or conflict resolution. For insurance to cover therapy for relationships, there needs to be a diagnosed patient receiving treatment to improve their mental health, known as 'family therapy.' Submitting couples counseling as family therapy is considered improper billing. Some plans may offer coverage for couples counseling, but members would need to confirm if their plan includes coverage for service code Z63.0. For sessions not covered by insurance, we offer a self-pay rate of $150 per session.
