I am a mental health counselor pursuing my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and a member of the Prevail Counseling and Wellness Team. I am passionate about helping individuals cultivate mental and emotional wellness so they can live a life they love. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients on their journey toward healing and personal growth.
My clinical focus includes working with adults (18+) navigating a variety of mental health concerns, with a specialized interest in attachment, adjustment, and trauma. I also work with individuals experiencing menstrual-based mental health issues, such as PMDD, integrating a bio-psycho-social framework to explore how the phases of the menstrual cycle influence well-being. Additionally, I have experience providing therapy to incarcerated individuals, addressing a wide range of mental health needs.
I take a tailored approach to therapy, incorporating solution-focused and strengths-based techniques while integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in individual work. I often engage in bibliotherapy with clients, using literature as a tool for reflection, insight, and growth. My goal is to provide a supportive, collaborative space where clients can develop effective coping strategies, build their sense of self, and create meaningful change in their lives.
I am an Associate Licensed Counselor under the supervision of Jacob Tutwiler, LPC-S
